Terms and Conditions
Last updated: October 23, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) govern your use of the AmericanEconomy.ai website at https://americaneconomy.ai and the services we provide through it, including our articles, report pages, business profile, briefing emails and paid subscription (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by AmericanEconomy.ai LLC (“we”, “us” or “our”). Please read these Terms carefully.
1. Acceptance of these Terms
By using the Service, creating an account or starting a subscription, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use the Service on behalf of a business, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that business and confirm you have authority to do so. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. The Service is intended for business owners, managers and other professionals in the United States who want to understand how economic data may affect their business.
3. Your account
You can create an account with your email address and a password, or by signing in with Google. If you sign up with email and password, you must verify your email address before you can sign in.
You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything that happens under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date, and tell us promptly at support@americaneconomy.ai if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
4. Subscription and billing
Some parts of the Service require a paid subscription, including ongoing personalized heads-ups before relevant economic report releases, impact briefings after them and your briefing history. Other parts, such as our public articles and report pages, a starter business profile and one free personalized briefing, are available without one. Account holders without a subscription may also receive occasional short reminders about upcoming reports, with an invitation to subscribe.
- Monthly billing. A new subscription is charged when you subscribe and then automatically renews each month at the price shown when you subscribed (currently $9.95 per month), and you authorize us to charge your payment method each month until you cancel. New subscriptions do not include a free trial.
- Promotional codes. We may issue gift or promotional codes that reduce or waive your first payment; Stripe’s checkout page has a box to enter one. After that, your subscription renews at the regular price.
- Existing free trials. If your subscription started with a free trial before we stopped offering them, you keep that trial until it ends and you will not be charged during it. When it ends, your subscription continues as a paid monthly subscription on the terms above.
- Payment processing. Payments are processed by Stripe. You enter your card details on Stripe’s secure checkout page; we do not receive or store your full card number. Your use of Stripe is also subject to Stripe’s own terms.
- Price changes. We may change the subscription price. We will tell you in advance, and the new price will apply from your next billing period after the notice. If you do not agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Failed payments. If a payment fails, your subscription may be marked past due and paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel at any time from your dashboard, or by emailing us at support@americaneconomy.ai from the email address on your account. Canceling does not delete your account or business profile. If you cancel during an existing free trial, you will not be charged. Otherwise, your subscription will end at the close of the current billing period and you will not be charged again; you keep access to paid features until then, and you can resume the subscription from your dashboard before that date. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are not refundable and we do not give refunds or credits for partial billing periods.
6. Referral credits
Subscribers can share a personal referral link. When someone who signed up through your link makes their first paid subscription payment, you earn a referral credit:
- What a credit is. Each credit equals one month of your subscription and is applied to your future invoices. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
- Limit. You can earn at most 12 credits in any 12-month period.
- When credits are earned or reversed. A credit is earned when the person you referred makes their first paid subscription payment (a first month covered by a promotional code does not count), and only if you are subscribed at that time. If that payment is refunded, we reverse the credit to the extent it has not been used.
- Eligibility. Referring yourself, and any abuse of the referral program, is not eligible, and we may withhold or reverse credits in those cases.
- Partner links. People who join through a partner (affiliate) link are credited to that partner under our partner program instead, not as a referral.
7. Acceptable use
When you use the Service, you agree not to:
- break any law or anyone else’s rights;
- try to access accounts, data or parts of the Service you are not authorized to use, or interfere with the Service’s security or operation;
- scrape, crawl or copy the Service in bulk, or use automated means to send it large numbers of requests, except as allowed by our robots.txt file for search engines;
- use the Service, or its output, to build a competing product or to train an AI model;
- resell, sublicense or share your account or subscription with others;
- submit content that is unlawful, harmful or misleading, that contains malware, or that tries to manipulate our AI systems into ignoring their instructions; or
- enter other people’s sensitive personal information into the Service.
8. AI-generated content and economic information
Much of what the Service provides, including business profile summaries, economic plans, articles and briefing emails, is generated by artificial intelligence based on published economic data and the information you give us. Please keep the following in mind:
- Informational only. The Service provides general economic information and commentary. It is not financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice, and it is not a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security or to take any particular business action.
- It may be wrong. AI-generated content can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or misleading, even when it sounds confident, and it may misstate or misinterpret figures from the underlying reports. Economic data is also revised after release.
- Check before you act. Verify important information against the original source reports, and consult a qualified professional before making financial, investment, legal, tax or other significant business decisions. You are responsible for the decisions you make.
- Personalization depends on you. Personalized content is only as good as the profile information you give us.
9. Third-party data sources
The Service draws on official United States government statistics and publications, including those of the Bureau of Labor Statistics, the Bureau of Economic Analysis, the Census Bureau and the Federal Reserve. We are not affiliated with, and are not endorsed by, any of these agencies. We do not control their data, release schedules or revisions, and we are not responsible for errors or delays in it. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, text, articles and other content we create (excluding the underlying government data, which remains subject to its own terms), belongs to AmericanEconomy.ai LLC or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the Service for your own internal business purposes. You may share individual articles or briefings, with attribution to AmericanEconomy.ai, but you may not republish, sell or redistribute the Service’s content in bulk.
You keep ownership of the information you submit, such as your business profile answers. You give us permission to store, process and use it to provide, maintain and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without any obligation to you.
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, title and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, that emails will arrive at any particular time, or that any content is accurate, complete or current.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AmericanEconomy.ai LLC and its members, managers, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms, including any decision you make based on the Service’s content, even if we have been told such damages are possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service or these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain of these limitations, so some may not apply to you.
13. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless AmericanEconomy.ai LLC from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
14. Suspension and termination
You can stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account from your dashboard, which permanently deletes your account and its data and cancels any subscription immediately, or ask us to close it by emailing support@americaneconomy.ai. We may suspend or end your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms, if we need to for legal or security reasons, or if we stop offering the Service. If we end a paid subscription for reasons other than your breach, we will refund any prepaid amount for the unused part of the billing period. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including sections 8 to 13 and 16, will survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above, and if the changes are significant we will give you reasonable notice, for example by email or on the website. If you keep using the Service after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
17. General
These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our not enforcing a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent; we may transfer ours as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
